At Domaine Jardin des Iris, Gilles Louvet has conducted a study on the protection of the water table in partnership with the Water Agency. The aim is to put in place a procedure to restore the purest possible water to the water table.

The next study will be on lowering CO2 emissions with a view to reducing our carbon footprint even further.

MAINTAINING BIODIVERSITY :

Garrigue, pine trees, cypresses and olive trees: the plant life around our vines is highly representative of the Mediterranean flora. We let flowers grow in the middle of the vine rows so as to attract bees which then pollinate the vine blossom.

Maintaining biodiversity around the vineyard is one of the principles of organic farming and one of the undertakings of Vignobles Gilles Louvet.
