Clos du Romarin is located on a black schist terroir, typical of the Maury appellation, in the Roussillon. The vines are planted on schist slopes, some of them just downhill from the Château Cathare de Queribus. Each plot of vines is harvested by hand, and the grapes are vinified separately.
 


Clos du Romarin reveals a powerful bouquet of Mediterranean scrubland aromas accented with hints of rich leather and wild fruit. Its robust, fleshy, full-bodied palate will be ideal with duck confit, a flank steak with shallot or lamb with garlic and rosemary. Serve at 18°C.
